The final workshop of the Michigan African American Craft Legacy Project will be hosted at the MSU Detroit Center on November 7th from 6:00 – 8:00PM. The workshop is intended for elder Black artists and community members interested in sharing about and further developing their skills in documenting, preserving, and sharing Black craft legacies, particularly those of elder Black craft artists.

 
During this workshop, all participants will receive free preservation materials (file folders and storage boxes) to aid them with their personal craft archives, as well as hands-on training in how to utilize the materials. This will be the final workshop of the series.
 
Attendance will be capped at 10 participants. This event will be led by Dr. Liv Furman.
